Sikelia Service has been certified as conservator by AgID – the governmental Agency for Digital Italy. The company is now present in the official list of accredited service providers, with its own conservation manual.
AgID has defined the operational modalities for the implementation of document conservation activities. The adherence to this conservation system grants authenticity, integrity, reliability, legibility and availability of the documents, as envisaged by the CAD/art. 44.
This certification conferred the role of Digital Conservator to Sikelia Service, and it recognised its status of consultant and operator in all document conservation activities externalised by the public administration. Also, it confirmed the company possess of high quality and security standards in digital document conservation.
